This is one of my favorite apps! I like the nearby feature. This is the best way to discover a new neighborhood.

Great app, great way to plan a vacation - unfortunately the app crashes quite often which is very annoying. Using the app on an iPad Air 2

This app is beautifully designed and functions perfectly. As with any new social tool it will only shine if people use it and I hope they do because this would be a priceless tool especially when travelling. *update* I also think it should not have to be tied to facebook.

I use it regularly and its definitely one of my favorite apps on my iPhone.

Some bad moments

It only lets you login with Facebook which wants to use your data. Good idea though

Could be cool, great idea. Too bad the app just doesnt work. Load times are brutal and app crashes a lot.

This is more than a collection of beautiful photographs, it is an essential and excellent trip planner. I love seeing what other travelers discovered in an area Im about to visit. Very helpful.

The app is great for finding high quality photos in your local area, or really anywhere around the world. Each photo has a tip associated with it, so you get visuals and interesting info. well beyond what a destination guide or other photo community app could provide.

Trover is great for any traveler, whether exploring your own neighborhood or the other side of the globe. Its sort of like Pinterest meets Instagram meets Foursquare. Not only do you get to browse through gorgeous photos around the world and save them to your personally curated lists, but you can also learn insider travel tips from those who were there before you. The map on the app allows you to easily find the location no matter where you are in the world. Of course, you also get to add your own photos and receive thanks for your discoveries. Our favorite part is definitely the ability to find nearby discoveries. Not only do we find hidden gems that are located where we are, we can also connect with the travelers that made the discovery. An awesome way to meet new people! We highly recommend it. We know we will be using it for all of our upcoming trips!

I love Trover. It fills in the gaps where other social networks fail -- its as beautiful as Pinterest, but its also filled with tips and information like Foursquare. I love the easy, Instagram-style interface. I wasnt sure how well it would work in some random locations, but even when I was in Brunei, I was able to get tips on where to eat sushi and which ostentatious hotel to visit! If you like travel and discovering new places, this is definitely an app to add to your phone. Im a huge fan.
